Our “Why?”
Hello there! My name is Sari, I live with my husband and our two beautiful kids on our farm in Agery, South Australia. Our kids are always outside and unfortunately they have both struggled with eczema since they were born. Sunscreen, grass, dirt, pets and more can trigger a flare up with their eczema. And I was forever wrestling them to put on sunscreen which they hated the feeling of and would flare up their skin too.
So I started my quest to find a solution! I tried to find fishing shirts that they could wear in the sun to limit having to use sunscreen. and hoping wearing long sleeves would limit their exposure to allergens when they’re playing outside. The shirts I found were out of my budget, when kids grow out of tops so quick. Or I didn’t love the giant Murray Cod on the front. So began my goal to create budget friendly, protective, lightweight and fun fishing (sun) shirts.
